McKenna gets an urgent appointment for a gifted, young singer/songwriter who’s also a cutter. But when McKenna sees Courier Rahab, she’s appalled to recognize her as Rae, who she’d met at a pub the day her mother died. McKenna lashes out at Rahab, assuming she’s partly to blame for her mom’s death. Yet Miriam insists they focus on the high school senior they’re appointed to help. Only for the sake of the cutter, McKenna gets Rahab set up as a guidance counselor at her school. But when McKenna drops Rahab for the job, they run into McKenna’s dad, who’s there to help with an IT emergency. McKenna tries to brush the encounter off, but her father’s suspicions are roused. Meanwhile, Rahab pulls the young woman out of her amorous boyfriend’s arms and into her office. Though the girl defends her relationship choices, Rahab draws on her own experience to unearth…
