Internship Opportunities

Monday- Friday

10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Branson International Film Festival (Branson IFF) is a non-profit media arts organization designed to educate, equip, and empower, filmmakers in the area of Story, Funding, Production, Distribution. We do this through film screenings, educational support, film and media events, including an annual competition hosted in Branson, MO, held each spring.

Our internships give interns a well-rounded experience and knowledge of producing a film festival, as well as experience working for a non-profit, media arts organization.

Interns assist with administrative duties, marketing, event planning, and coordination. Please note that while an internship with Branson IFF is a great way to get connected to the local film community, we are not a film studio and cannot provide internships in film production.

Basic Requirements for all Interns:

  • Must be at least 18 years-old (internships for High School Seniors available on a case by case basis)

  • Must work a minimum of 10 hours per week (office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

  • Must be available to work a select number of after-hours events. Depending on the nature of the event, hours worked may be applied to minimum hours required

  • Must work a minimum of 4 months (16 weeks)

  • Interns should be energetic, outgoing and enjoy working with the public. Interns should have excellent written and oral communications skills, phone manners and organizational abilities

*Internships are unpaid. Benefits include:  hands on experience at established festival (4th year), event staff shirt, free admission to entire weekend, opportunity to meet VIP’s behind the scenes, and lunch provided.
