Your breakthrough begins here.

In 2009, Debra Granik from New York, brought Daniel Woodrell's novel, "Winter's Bone" to life in the rural hills of the Branson, Missouri community. Her approach made the film unforgettable and earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay. It also became the launchpad for Jennifer Lawrence, whose bold audition earned her an Oscar nomination and ignited her rise to stardom.

It proved that breakthrough talent can emerge anywhere, especially when someone shows up ready to perform.

And now, it's happening again.

In 2010, when "Winter's Bone" hit the marketplace, another Deborah came to the Ozarks. Our curator, Deborah Watson became inspired by that same spark to elevate emerging actors/actresses and connect them to real opportunities. She began to develop the platform now known as The Actor's Voice, a live casting experience - your breakthrough begins here.

We're calling all actors and actresses, ages 15 and up, who are hungry, hopeful, and ready, to come and be seen, be heard, maybe land a leading role like Lance Brown did.

     What to expect:

To the Actors Who’ve Walked the Road Before—We Need You Here

To the actors and actresses already in the industry—

You’ve seen the late nights, the hard auditions, the victories that felt like magic, and the heartbreaks that nearly made you quit. You know what it means to chase a dream that doesn’t come with guarantees, to keep showing up when the world says “no,” and to dig deep until a door opens.

That’s why we’re asking you to come and be part of The Actors Voice, as observers, mentors, vendors, and living proof that the dream is still worth it.

At this year’s Branson International Film Festival, emerging talent will take the stage with trembling hands, hopeful eyes, and 60 seconds to show the world who they are. But more than a spotlight, what they need is someone in the audience who sees them. Someone who’s been where they are.

They need YOU.

We’re inviting experienced actors and actresses to host a table at the Open Market Square. Come and sell merch and share your presence. Talk to the next generation. Hand out advice. Shake hands with casting directors. Offer encouragement. Be that face they remember when they think, “Maybe I really can do this.” for the rising talent and "I need to hire that person." for the producers and directors.

Your success is a seed for someone else’s growth.
Your scars? They carry wisdom.
Your wins? They carry weight.

If you’ve ever wished you had someone like you when you were starting out, now’s the time to be that someone.

Come as a vendor. Come as a mentor. Come as a reminder that with the right attitude, dedication, and fortitude, the dream isn’t just possible—it’s still alive.

📝 Reserve your vendor space today.
🎬 Let’s build the kind of community we wish we had.
