Deborah Watson serves as the curator of the festival and also the founder of Studio 2.22 Film productions. While she was building her brand, she recognized that there was a gap in writers knowing what to do with their stories. Especially in the Christian worldview arena. Many of them run the festival circuit in hopes of a production company falling in love with their story and buying it from them. The problem is there are very few Christian production companies who are willing to purchase stories because they are busy producing their own. Herself included.
