Hans Widmer began making films after retiring from a 35-year career as a research engineer, harnessing his lifelong passions for photography and story telling. He attended the YWAM School of Digital Filmmaking in 2020, the YWAM School of Acting for the Screen in 2021, both in Quebec, Canada, as well as having served on staff for those schools in 2022 and 2023. He has made several short films, and is currently on staff with Project Video in Thailand, with Create International in Taiwan, and as an independent filmmaker and trainer. He enjoys telling redemptive visual stories in creative and unusual ways.
